Service Description

Green Gulch Farm Zen Center, also known as Green Dragon Temple (Soryu-ji), is located in Marin County, just north of San Francisco, in a valley that opens out onto the Pacific Ocean. In addition to a year-round schedule of Zen meditation, study, and practice, it includes a thriving organic farm and garden, a delicious kitchen that will be serving us an organic - vegetarian lunch, and gift shop. Our day will start in the Still Water retreat room where we will gather at 9:30AM. We will begin our morning session at 10 AM. You will have tea, hot water and beverages available throughout the day. Bring your mats, and any personal props. Green Gulch has plenty of bolsters and blocks but you may prefer to bring something warm to cover yourself with and any other personal items. Please refrain from wearing any fragrances. SCHEDULE: Sunday, July 30th 9:30-10:00 AM Arrive and set up your mats 10AM-12:30 PM Morning practice 12:30-1:30 PM Lunch 1:30-2:30 PM Free time 2:30-4:30 PM Afternoon Practice 4:30-5PM Closing Participants may book accommodations before or after the event by calling 415.383.3134 OR visiting ggfoffice@sfzc.org. CANCELLATION POLICY: If a participant wishes to cancel their registration, they must notify Linda at lsprosche@gmail.com. Participants cancelling more than 30 days prior to the event will receive 100% of the registration fee refunded. ( ADD that I will not refund copy here) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event. Participants will be notified of the cancellation via email, phone, or any other contact information provided during registration. In case of cancellation by the organizer, participants will be offered a full refund of the registration fee. COVID POLICY: All participants need to be COVID vaccinated. Please take a home covid test 24 hours prior to attending the retreat to make sure you are negative. No masks are required in the Stillwater Retreat Room where will be practicing. No masks are required in outside areas. However, KN95 masks are required in indoor spaces not designated for our group only.
